Fighting for the Future of Cultural Exchange

We Never Tire of Fighting for What’s Right – We Hope You Don’t Either!

Exchange programs are under intense scrutiny by the new administration and we’re asking once again for your support.  The Trump administration want to ensure our national economy and security, which is why we believe in fighting for the future of cultural exchange. We also know how important it is for your business to continue to participate in this program.

Together with the Alliance for Cultural Exchange and members of Congress, we are working to support efforts that highlight the value of cultural exchange programs. Our interests are not political in nature, they represent a passion for bringing people together for mutual understanding and benefit.

A few weeks ago, we asked you join thousands in a letter writing campaign petitioning Congress to fully fund exchange programs; this was successful and they were funded. Now, we’re asking you to take a few more minutes to sign a Senate resolution recognizing the intrinsic value of and encouraging international education and exchange programs.

The resolution outlines some of the benefits:

International education and exchange programs are a proven and cost-effective way for the United States to further national security and foreign policy priorities through people-to-people diplomacy and engagement. These publicly and privately funded programs enhance America’s economic competitiveness and promote mutual understanding between our country and nations around the world.

Academic, professional, and cultural exchange programs reach diverse audiences, including people of all ages in the United States and abroad. They facilitate life-changing cultural experiences across the educational spectrum.

Please join the bipartisan campaign to support Senators Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and John Boozman (R-AR) who are leading a Senate resolution. A few minutes of your time, can make a big difference in the outcome of the programs that do so much to enrich companies, communities and lives.

This effort is being sponsored through the Alliance for Cultural Exchange.
The deadline to submit the letter is this FRIDAY, MAY 12, 2017.
